Common questions

What is Linen Neps fabric?

Linen Neps is a lightweight, digitally printed fabric finished with a linen-style neps texture, the tiny slubs and flecks that give real linen its natural character. This collection features colourful floral and botanical prints at 42 to 44 inches wide and around 100 to 125 gsm, ideal for dresses, kurtas, light shirts and soft furnishings.

Is Linen Neps the same as pure linen?

No, Linen Neps is a linen-look printed fabric, not a woven pure-linen cloth. It recreates the slubby neps texture and matte finish of linen while taking bright digital prints beautifully, which pure linen cannot hold as vividly. If you want genuine 100% linen, choose our pure linen plain, stripes or yarn-dyed ranges instead.

What prints are available in the Linen Neps collection?

The collection is full of bold digital florals and botanicals, from giant sunflowers and carnation blooms to Egyptian florals, colourful mixed botanicals and flower bunches. The prints are digitally applied for crisp detail and rich, vivid colour, making each design a statement piece for dresses and kurtas.

How wide is Linen Neps and how much do I need for a kurta?

Linen Neps is woven 42 to 44 inches wide. At this width a kurta needs about 2.5 metres, a shirt or kurti around 2.25 metres, and a flowing dress roughly 2.5 to 3 metres. Its light weight and fluid drape also make it popular for dupattas and light upholstery. It is sold by the metre.

How do I wash Linen Neps printed fabric?

Hand wash gently in cold water with a mild detergent, or dry clean, and do not bleach, as it can affect the printed colours. Wash it separately the first time, shade dry to protect the print, and iron on a low-to-medium setting. Gentle handling keeps the digital florals bright and the neps texture intact.

How much does Linen Neps cost and how fast is shipping?

Linen Neps is one of the more affordable ranges, starting at around Rs.199 per metre. Orders ship within 24 hours across India, with free delivery above Rs.1,999 and a 7-day exchange. You can pay by COD, UPI or card and order the exact length you need by the metre.
