This collection is heavier 25 LEA pure linen woven specifically for trousers, pants and suits. At around 220 gsm it has more body and structure than shirting linen, so it holds a crisp trouser shape while staying breathable. Solid shades include Chocolate Brown, Natural Grey, Dark Blue, Jade Black and Oxford Tan.

A lower LEA count means a thicker, heavier yarn, so 25 LEA linen is noticeably weightier than fine 60 LEA shirting linen. That extra weight, about 220 gsm here, gives the drape and opacity you want for trousers and suits, whereas 60 LEA linen is lighter and better suited to shirts and dresses.

The 25 LEA pant linen is woven 58 inches wide. That width comfortably yields a full pair of trousers from a single 1.3-metre piece, with minimal seams. It is 100% pure linen and sold either by the metre or as pre-cut trouser lengths, so you can order the exact quantity your tailor needs.

Hand wash the fabric in cold water with a mild detergent, or dry clean it, and avoid bleach. Line or shade dry, then press with a warm iron while slightly damp. Being 100% natural linen, it softens with wear and may relax very slightly after the first wash, which is completely normal.
