These suiting fabrics are 100% polyester with a smooth satin finish, not linen. Polyester holds its structure well, resists creasing and keeps its shape, which makes it practical for tailored suits and jackets. At around 340 GSM, the fabric has enough body and weight for structured formalwear.

The suiting fabric is 58 inches wide. As a general guide, a two-piece suit usually needs around 3 to 3.5 metres, and trousers alone about 1.3 to 1.5 metres, though your tailor's advice is best. You buy by the metre, so order the exact length your chosen garment requires.

These polyester suiting fabrics can be hand washed or machine washed, as listed on the product pages, which makes them lower maintenance than many suit materials. Wash gently, avoid high heat, and iron on a low setting. Because polyester dries quickly and resists wrinkles, everyday upkeep stays simple.
